Is this mower compatible with other STIGA battery tools?

Yes, the mower uses STIGA ePower 48V batteries that work across the entire STIGA 48V tool range. This includes hedge trimmers, leaf blowers and chainsaws. However, it's not compatible with Freedom 48 range tools manufactured before 2020. This battery interoperability makes it cost-effective to build a complete cordless garden tool collection.

What's the difference between collection and mulching modes?

Collection mode gathers grass clippings in the 35-litre rigid collector, leaving a tidy finish. This works best for formal lawns and when grass is long.
