Regular maintenance includes cleaning the cutting deck after each use and checking the blade sharpness periodically. Remove grass buildup from the collection box and air vents. The plastic deck wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. Blade replacement or sharpening may be needed annually depending on usage frequency and ground conditions.
The grass combs allow cutting within approximately 1-2cm of walls, fences and garden borders. This feature significantly reduces the need for separate trimming tools around most lawn perimeters. However, very tight corners and complex shapes may still require manual trimming. The combs work best on relatively straight edges and gentle curves.
No assembly is required - the mower arrives ready to use once you install a compatible battery. The handles are pre-fitted and the collection box clips into position immediately. You simply need to charge a Bosch 18V battery and insert it through the front access panel. The cutting height comes preset but can be adjusted before first use.
The mower continues operating when the collection box fills, but cutting efficiency decreases as clippings cannot be collected properly.
